In almost all my works the human being has a preponderant role, especially his face. To focus the viewer’s concentration on the subject I remove every details which could create a background and mix it with the figure to create only one thing.

When I reach a certain stage of construction of my figures, i feel the need to deconstruct them with scratches and dynamic brushstrokes.

I don’t do the same on the bodies, usually I only sketch them.

The first thing i do before starting to paint is studying the figure ; then the character will build himself nearly unconsciously with instinctive moves. However, the observer could get confused and sometimes he could not recognize the identity of the subject.
